DESCENDANTS OF ABRAHAM'S SEED?

Why does Saddam Hussein, the dictator of Iraq, want to drive the Jews out of the Holy Land? Because the Jews say they are the true descendants of Abraham, and that the Holy Land belongs to them. There are others, however, who are his descendants, and they, too, claim right to that land; but only God's Word can identity the people from Abraham's seed who has exclusive right to the Holy Land. And here is how to learn their identity: Several thousand years ago God changed Abram's name to Abraham and promised to make him "a father of many nations" (Gen. 17:5), and that he would possess the land of Canaan (Gen. 15:18-21) through his seed; but he had no son. After many years of waiting, his wife (Sarah) gave to him Hagar, her Egyptian handmaid (Gen. 16:3), to bear a child for her which was named Ishmael (Gen. 16:11). Later, Sarah had a child named Isaac (Gen. 21:3) and asked Abraham to cast out Hagar and Ismael (Gen. 21:10), which he did. They dwelt in the "wilderness of Paran" and Ishmael married an Egyptian girl (Gen. 21:21), and from his seed came many descendants. And because Ishmael was the first born of Abraham by Hagar the Egyptian, and because he married an Egyptian girl, the Egyptians have always claimed, even to this day, that they are the only true Arabs who should possess the land of Canaan. Then there is Abraham's nephew Lot (Gen. 12:5) and his two daughters, who escaped the burning of Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen. 19:24), and who had sons named "Moab" and "Ammon" (Gen. 19:37,38). And to this day their descendants now living in the territory of Moab and Ammon on the east side of the river Jordan, whose ruler is king Hussein, also lay claim to the land of Canaan.

But the Lord kept His promise to Abraham, and his wife Sarah gave birth to a son which they named Isaac (Gen. 21:2,3); and God said to Abraham "in Isaac shall thy seed be called" (Gen. 21:12). This fact proves that all the descendants from Abraham's seed through his nephew Lot, being the Moabites and Ammonites of today, cannot be the true seed to inherit the Holy Land. Nor can Abraham's descendants in Egypt through Ishmael be the true seed today; because the seed must come through Isaac! And Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob; but Esau sold his birthright to Jacob, and Isaac blessed him. But in spite of this fact, the descendants of Esau or Edom (Gen. 36:1) also claim to be the true seed. Instead, the seed of Abraham came through Isaac and Jacob and his twelve sons who became the twelve tribes of Israel. This fact is proof that Jacob (Israel) was the true seed of Abraham, because He led them out of Egypt and drove all the other descendants of his seed, especially the Ishmaelites, the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, etc., from the Holy Land.

In time, however, the children of Israel apostatized and God drove Israel (the ten tribes) from His Holy Land by Assyria, and they lost their racial identity. He also put Judah (the two tribes) into captivity under Babylon, Medo-Persia, Grecia, and Rome. And then the Messiah (Jesus) came to His people (Judah) to redeem them. But they rejected and crucified Him, and about thirty-three hours later He was resurrected, there came from the cross two classes of people: (1) The literal identifiable Jews who rejected their Messiah. (2) The Christian Jews who accepted their Messiah. But the Christian Jews did two things which the literal Jews will not do: (1) The Christian Jews took the gospel to the Gentiles! (2) The Christian Jews married them! And during the time of the Christian era up until the latter days (almost 2,000 years, lacking 1-1/2 years) the Christian Jews lost their racial identity by marrying these Gentiles. Thus, today we see the literal Jews, identified by their color of skin, facial features, etc., who have returned to their homeland since 1948, and the unidentifiable Christian Jews (who look like Gentiles).

However, because the identifiable Jews rejected their Messiah (Jesus), the Lord rejected them and chose the Christian Jews as His people! Thus, the promises in the Bible to Judah and Israel in the latter days does not apply to them, but to the Christian Jews. And where are they? In one of the Christian churches that God recognizes as His church. And who are they? Only God knows the generations of these Christian Jews who look like Gentiles that decended from the seed of Abraham; as He knows Jesus' generation back to David (Mt. 1:1-17), to Abraham, and to Adam (Lk. 3:23-38). In this genological record (Ps. 87:4-6) He knows every Christian Jew who married Gentiles and lost their racial identity, and who descended down to our day in His church.
