INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN DAVIDIANS

THE UNKNOWN DAVIDIANS OF TODAY

Ellen G. White was the prophetess (1 S.M. 34:5) of the Seventh-day Adventist church, which is identified as "Laodicea" (Rev. 3:14), the seventh "candlestick" (Rev. 1:20). Before she died in 1915, she predicted in 1890 that "somebody is to come in the spirit and power of Elijah" (T.M. 475:3). That Elijah came in 1929, but the great majority of the people in the SDA church were not prepared to receive him, because Jesus said they are spiritually "blind" (Rev. 3:17)! The few people that did accept Elijah (V.T. Houteff) and his SRod message were branded as heretic and cast out of the church. And as Jesus organized the apostles after they were cast out of the Jewish church (Jn. 9:22), so Elijah the prophet gathered his cast out followers and named its organization, "The General Association Of Davidian Seventh-day Adventists" (2 T.G. 29:10:1). They are known among many people in the Seventh-day Adventist church as "Davidians" (1 T.G. 9:6:1). [If you want to know more about Elijah or V.T. Houteff or Davidians, click on that study at the end.]

It was not, however, until 1991 that many people of the world began to hear about Davidians, when an apostate Davidian (Dr. Norris Nosworthy) sent seven letters of doom to President Bush and President Clinton and other governmental officials, as well as to many in the Seventh-day Adventist church. These doom letters began an investigation by the BATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms), which led to the day (Feb. 28, 1993) when the 51-day siege began, and which ended on the day (April 19, 1993) of the Waco burnout of the new Mt. Carmel compound, killing 86 Branch Davidians. [To know more about the seven letters or the Waco burnout, click on that study at the end.] It was then that the name Branch Davidians became well known in the world at large. But what they did not know was that after Elijah (Bro. V.T. Houteff) began the Davidian Seventh-day Adventist movement in 1929, he died in 1955; and that an apostate Davidian named Ben L. Roden began his Branch movement in the same year--1955.

It was later, when David Koresh joined the Branch Davidians after Ben Roden died in 1978, that he was worshipped by the Branch Davidians as the sinful messiah. This false messiah and the burn out of the Branch Davidians was the main reason why the name Davidian was brought to the world's attention. Very few people in the Seventh-day Adventist church and in the world know that there is a difference between the true Davidians who began in 1929, and the apostate Branch Davidians who began in 1955. Therefore, the negative feelings generated by the adverse publicity of the Branch Davidians who worshipped a false messiah (David Koresh), has been directed toward all Davidians. And in time those feelings of hatred will become more intense during the time of Jacob's trouble, "but he shall be saved out of it" (Jer. 30:7). And though most of the 144,000 Davidians today are hidden and unknown, when that great event occurs (deliverance from Jacob's trouble) they will be internationally known!

UNKNOWN HIDDEN DAVIDIANS BECOME KNOWN INTERNATIONALLY

"Though we {Davidians} may now be either hated or unknown, the day is coming when we shall be comforted {be known internationally}. The great men of earth shall then, so to speak, 'lick up the dust' of our feet."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 46, pg. 10:1 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"The Lord has faithful servants {144,000--Rev. 7:3}, who in the shaking, testing time will be disclosed to view {become Davidians}. There are precious ones now hidden {in the Seventh-day Adventist church} who have not bowed the knee to Baal {idolized the ministers}."--5 Testimonies, pgs. 80, 81 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"The statements, 'will be disclosed to view,' 'precious ones now hidden,' and 'hidden ones will be revealed to view,' nakedly unveil the fact that although the servants {144,000 Davidians} of the eleventh hour are not now men of prominence, not persons now generally known, they will, nevertheless, assuredly come into their own {be known internationally}, finally."--White-House Recruiter, pg. 47 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"In view of this sad fact, God must have a second leadership {bay horses--Davidians} to finish His greatest work since the world began. Of this second set of servants {144,000--Rev. 7:3}, we read: 'And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels,...saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants {144,000 Davidians} of our God in their foreheads.' 'And in their mouth was found no guile: for they {144,000} are without fault before the throne of God.' Rev. 7:2, 3; 14:5."--2 Tract, pg. 39 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"This is exactly what is happening right now: Those who are rejecting the message that is announcing the Judgment for the Living; those who 'did not keep pace with the light,' and are satisfied to stay in antitypical Egypt; the Seventh-day Adventists' ministry {grisled horses} are to be discharged (unhitched); and the 'hidden' ones, those represented by the bay horses, the Davidian Seventh-day Adventists' ministry, are coming to the front. They are now being 'disclosed to view' {to become known internationally}, and are getting ready to take the chariot!"--2 Timely Greetings, No. 22, pg. 24 (bold emphasis, braces added).

God's church is symbolically represented as the fourth chariot (church) with "grisled and bay horses" (Zech. 6:3) leading it. The Seventh-day Adventist grisled horses and most passengers in the chariot have rejected Elijah's message. But a few laymembers (passengers), who were hidden in the chariot, have accepted Elijah's message, and they are being disclosed to view when they come to the front of the chariot as bay-horse leaders (Davidians)--the "vanguard" (LD 3:2). When the rest of the 144,000 now hidden in the chariot come to the front as Davidian bay horses, then they will become internationally known. [To learn more about the bay horses or the vanguard, click on that study at the end.] Today, most of the Davidians are polished shafts still hidden in God's quiver.

"And He hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand hath He hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in His quiver hath He hid me."--Isaiah 49:2 (bold emphasis added).

"Since Jacob himself was dead long before Isaiah the prophet wrote, the truth clearly stands out that the Spirit of God in this scripture speaks, not personally to Jacob himself, but to his descendants, to those {Davidians} to whom this Truth is made known, and who now bear the responsibility to broadcast It far and wide; plainly, then, the people in whom the Lord is to be glorified {144,000 Davidians}, and who again bring Jacob to Him (Isa. 49:3, 5) are themselves, too, to be made known internationally."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 46, pg. 4 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"These are to be His servants {144,000--Rev. 7:3} during the gathering of the people, the day in which the Lord is glorified. Their being hid, as it were, in His quiver {Seventh-day Adventist church}, connotes that their coming into the limelight {known internationally} is to be a complete surprise to all: For the first time the world is to learn that these servants of God are the tail end of Jacob's descendants, His hidden servants {144,000 Davidians}, those who are to gather His people even from the isles of the seas."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 46, pg. 4.

God's people (144,000 Davidians) are "polished shafts" (arrows) which are now hidden in His "quiver" (Seventh-day Adventist church). One day from His quiver He will pull out (make known internationally) His Davidian arrows, and send them out by the power of His "bow...even Thy word" to gather His people--the great multitude (Rev. 7:9).

"The fact that this parable of the Kingdom {Mt. 20:1-16} thus stands fully open to view now for the first time since Christ uttered it, is indisputable evidence in itself that the stroke of the eleventh hour is about to be heard even to the four points of the compass. This event will signalize the great fact that His last group of servants {144,000 Davidians now hidden in His quiver} are 'disclosed to view' to the whole world {known internationally}. Glorious disclosure!"--White-House Recruiter, pg. 36: (boldings, braces added).

"With your eyes open wide to the Word of God, your ears closed tight to hearsay {T.M. 299:2}, and your heart emptied clean of prejudice {T.M. 106:2} and preconception, take heed for your soul's sake to the trumpet call herein sounding. Settle it with yourself once for all that since the old message, the judgment of the dead {by Sis. E.G. White}, is already being eclipsed by the new message, the judgment of the living {by Elijah--Bro. V.T. Houteff}, there is but one wise choice for one {a Seventh-day Adventist} to make for his own sake and for the sake of others, and that is to come out fully in the open as one of the Lord's eleventh-hour workers {144,000 Davidians}, and thus enable Him soon to disclose you to view {as an arrow no longer hidden in His quiver} before the whole world {to be known internationally}."--White-House Recruiter, pg. 66:1 (boldings, braces added).

"...as in Nebuchadnezzar's day, Michael delivered and promoted those who refused to worship the golden image (Dan. 3:12-30), so today will He deliver and promote {make known internationally} all {144,000 Davidians} who refuse to worship the beast and his image"--12 Tract, pg. 29 (boldings, braces added).

"The Lord wants us to know that when He turns away our captivity {Zeph. 3:20 and delivers us--Dan. 12:1} He will also make us {144,000 Davidians} a name {known internationally} and a praise among all the people of the earth."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 23, pg. 9 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"The guests {144,000 Davidians} who pass the Master's inspection are actually to be made great {internationally known}."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 34, pg. 14:6 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"What a blessed hope! What a power to save both the young and the old and to make their names {of the 144,000 Davidians} known world-wide {internationally}! For such a fame as this, people would go through almost any torture known to mankind. God, though, is only asking you {Seventh-day Adventists} to believe and to comply with His Word,--yes, that is all."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 41, pg. 28 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"God is going to make His people so glorious that kings who now glory in their power will then acknowledge the glory of His people. Consequently, if we are to be among that people, then we are going to be made known {internationally} in all the world even to all kings at the time when God makes His people {144,000 Davidians} known, and our names will be classed forever among the names of the great men of the Scriptures. Do you actually realize that?"--12 Symbolic Code, No. 3, pg. 4:1 (boldings, braces added).

144,000 DAVIDIANS WILL BE MEN WONDERED AT

"Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth My servant the Branch {Christ--Jer. 23:5}."--Zechariah 3:8 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"Not only Joshua, but also those who sit before him (the congregation) are admonished to hear this charge. And what kind of men are they?--Men wondered at {144,000 Davidians known internationally}."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 8, pg. 24 (bold emphasis, braces added).

There will be many ways by which the 144,000 Davidians will be internationally known throughout the entire world, but only five distinctive signs of identification will be noted in this study.

SIGN 1--SAINTS KNOWN INTERNATIONALLY BECAUSE THEIR FACES SHINE

There are many great people in the world today who are celebrities, but no one has the ability to remember the names and faces of all these famous people. Of course, there are a few celebrities who are known internationally, because their faces and names are recognized by most people. But how can the 144,000 Davidians be celebrities who are known internationally? That many saints would make up a sizeable city. So how can the people of the world know all of them internationally? They can't remember that many faces, much less remember all their names? It is obvious, then, that these saints must have some distinction about them that would make them easily recognizable by everyone. What is it?

"The living saints, 144,000 {Davidians} in number, knew and understood the voice, while the wicked thought it was thunder and an earthquake. When God spoke the time, He poured upon us the Holy Ghost, and our faces began to light up and shine with the glory of God, as Moses' did when he came down from Mount Sinai."--Early Writings, pg. 15:0 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"Then all the saints cried out with anguish of spirit, and were delivered by the voice of God. The 144,000 {Davidians} triumphed. Their faces were lighted up with the glory of God."--Early Writings, pg. 37:0 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"I then heard a triumphant shout of victory, loud, musical, and clear. I looked upon the company {144,000 Davidians and those 'with' them}, who, a short time before, were in such distress and bondage. Their captivity was turned. A glorious light shone upon them....Their enemies, the heathen around them, fell like dead men; they could not endure the light that shone upon the delivered, ones. This light and glory remained upon them, until Jesus was seen in the clouds of heaven, and the faithful, tried company were changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, from glory to glory."--Early Writings, pgs. 272,273 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"As the third angel's message swells into a loud cry, great power and glory will attend its proclamation. The faces of God's people will shine with the light of heaven."--7 Testimonies, pg. 17:1 (bold emphasis, braces added.

When the 144,000 Davidians and those saved "with" them are delivered from the wicked, and their captivity is turned away, then their faces will light up and shine with the glory of God. And their faces will not only continue to shine during the time of the proclamation of the loud cry message to call God's people out of the Babylon churches into God's kingdom, but they will also shine during the seven last plagues and on until Jesus' second advent. It is obvious, then, that no one will have to remember their names or the features of their faces to identify them, because the distinctive glow on their shining faces will cause them to be instantly recognized, and thus internationally known throughout the entire world. What a distinctive sign that will be upon the saints! But this is not all, they will have another distinctive sign by which they will be recognized:

SIGN 2--SAINTS KNOWN INTERNATIONALLY FOR SPEAKING ALL LANGUAGES

"Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations,..."--Zechariah 8:23 (bold emphasis added).

"Obviously, the ten men are a representative figure of universality as are the ten virgins of Matthew 25. If so, then the church as a body {144,000 Davidians and those 'with' them} will speak all the languages of the nations."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 10, pg. 25:3 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"It is logical to conclude that the ten men who take hold of all the languages of the nations in the time of this great ingathering are figurative of a group of people (the church freed from tares in the harvest time), just as the ten virgins (Matt. 25:1) are figurative of the church while the tares are still commingled with wheat. The ten servants (Luke 19:13), and the ten horns (Rev. 12:3; 17:3) are numbers of universality. These ten men {144,000 Davidians and those saved 'with' them} will speak all the languages as did the Apostles on the Pentecost."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 16, pgs. 28,29 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"Thus illuminating in particular the {speaking in} tongues question, Zechariah's prophecy reveals that in the gathering time, in the time when God Himself calls the church 'a city of truth,' a 'holy mountain,' the time in which nations go forth to seek the Lord and to invite others to come with them, then it is that the whole church, every active soldier in the gospel army, will have the gift of tongues, as is pointedly indicated by the affirmation that 'ten men shall take hold of all the languages of the nations."--2 Timely Greetings, No. 46, pg. 34 (boldings, braces added).

On the day of Pentecost the 120 disciples (Acts 1:15) received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-3); "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." (Acts 2:4). So shall it be in the latter days, the Holy Spirit will again be poured out upon the 144,000 Davidians and those saved 'with' them, and they will "speak all the languages as did the Apostles on the Pentecost" (1 T.G. 16:29:0).

Again the 144,000 Davidians and those saved 'with' them will be internationally known, not only because the people of the world recognize them by the glow on their shining faces, but also because they recognize them as the saints who have the amazing ability to speak with all tongues! That is, no matter where they travel to preach the loud cry message to call the "great multitude" (Rev. 7:9) out of Babylon (Rev. 18:4) into God's kingdom, these Davidian saints can "speak all the languages" so that these people can clearly understand the truth. What a distinctive sign that will be upon the saints! But this is not all, they will have another distinctive sign by which they will be recognized:

SIGN 3--SAINTS KNOWN INTERNATIONALLY BECAUSE THEY ARE STRONG

The Bible says that the strongest man ever was Samson: "And he found a new jaw-bone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith." (Judges 15:15).

"He {Samson} burst asunder the new strong cords as if they had been flax burned in the fire. Then seizing the first weapon at hand, which, though only the jawbone of an ass, was rendered more effective than sword or spear, he smote the Philistines until they fled in terror, leaving a thousand men dead upon the field."--Patriarchs and Prophets, pg. 564:1 (bold emphasis, braces added).

And Paul the apostle mentioned him in Hebrews as a man of faith: "And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae, of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets." (Heb. 11:32).

But in the latter days, during a time of darkness and gloom, there will be other saints who will be much stronger than he was, as the prophet Joel said:

"A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like {not even Samson}, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations."--Joel 2:2 (boldings, braces added).

"In this day of gloominess and thick darkness there is also to be a great and strong people {144,000 Davidians and those saved 'with' them}. If they {the army of the Lord} are to be greater and stronger than any in the past, then they will exceed in strength even Samson. What is it that will make that people so strong?--The very first requisite is faith. The second is courageous action."--12 Symbolic Code, No. 3, pg. 5 (bold emphasis, braces added).

But why must the 144,000 Davidians and those saved 'with' them be stronger than Samson? Because many saints, the great multitude (Rev. 7:9), who are coming out of Babylon (Rev. 18:4) into God's kingdom during the time of the loud cry message, will be pursued by the wicked. And they will kill some saints (Rev. 14:13), and drive many others from their homes into the mountains and put some in prison. It will be these modern-day Samsons who will go there and rescue them.

"As the decree issued by the various rulers of Christendom against commandment-keepers shall withdraw the protection of government, and abandon them to those who desire their destruction, the people of God will flee from the cities and villages and associate together in companies, dwelling in the most desolate and solitary places. Many will find refuge in the strongholds of the mountains....The beloved of God pass weary days, bound in chains, shut in by prison bars, sentenced to be slain, some apparently left to die of starvation in dark and loathsome dungeons."--Great Controversy, pg. 626:1 (boldings, braces added).

"The first fruits {144,000 Davidians} stand with the Lamb, safe on Mt. Zion (in the Kingdom). Thus those {saints} who shall find refuge in the mountains, and those who shall be put in prison, can only be from among the second fruits {great multitude}--those who shall accept the message during the Loud Cry, but who shall not yet at that time have reached the Kingdom."--2 Answerer book, pg. 67:1 (bold emphasis, braces added).

The 144,000 Davidians and those saved "with" them are described by Joel as the mighty men of God's "army" (Joel 2:11); and they will be stronger than Samson--"a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like" (Joel 2:2).

"They {God's army of 144,000 Davidian Samsons} shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war;...they shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief."--Joel 2:7,9 (bold emphasis, braces added).

When "the Lord shall utter His voice before His army: for His camp is very great" (Joel 2:11), these 144,000 Davidian Samsons will call the great multitude out of Babylon, and many of them will be put in prisons. But these Davidian "mighty men" (Joel 2:7) will go there to rescue them, and the wicked people will try to stop them; but they can't. These mighty Samsons will "climb the wall" of the prisons and "upon the houses" and "enter in at the windows" to go in and free the saints from their captivity and take them to God's kingdom. Thus, these Davidians will be internationally known by all peoples of the world, not only because their faces will shine, and because they can speak all languages, but also because they will be known as the "mighty men" of God's great "army"--those who are stronger than Samson! And what a distinctive sign that will be upon the saints! But this is not all, they will have another distinctive sign by which they will be recognized:

SIGN 4--SAINTS KNOWN INTERNATIONALLY BECAUSE THEY RUN AS HORSEMEN

"The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run."--Joel 2:4 (bold emphasis, braces added).

Why did God inspire Joel to represent the 144,000 Davidian Samsons as "horses"? Because horses symbolize leaders, as in Zechariah 6--the prophecy of the fourth chariot (church) with two teams of grisled and bay horses leading it (Zech. 6:3). [To learn more about Zech. 6, click on that study at the end.] In Zech. 14:20 the horses are gospel workers, because the message they teach (the bells) is proclaiming "HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD."

"That the symbol, horses, is correctly interpreted to represent gospel workers is further borne out by Zechariah 14:20. There, horses are used to symbolize preachers, those who sound 'the bells'--the alarm of warning, the message of salvation."--5 Tract, pg. 90 (bold emphasis, braces added).

Thus, the 144,000 Davidian are symbolic "horses" who preach the message of the loud cry to call God's people out of Babylon; but Joel indicated that the 144,000 Davidian Samsons do not "run" as horses. That is, they do not "run" (travel) in cars, trains, boats, airplanes as they do now for two reasons: (1) That would be running too slow. (2) They can't use them anyway. And here is why: The man 666 (Rev. 13:18) will be a dictator during that time, and he has decreed that "no man might buy or sell, save he had the mark" (Rev. 13:17). And since the 144,000 Davidian Samsons will not take the mark, and cannot "buy" any kind of transportation, then they must have another way to travel to preach the gospel. And that is why Joel did not say that they run like horses, but like "horsemen"! So who are the horsemen and how do they "run" (travel)?

"So as the horses are representative of gospel messengers {144,000 Davidian Samsons which swells to 200 million gospel workers}, and as they are controlled and guided by their riders (divine beings), then the 'horsemen,' it automatically follows, are figurative of the angelic host who lead and direct the saints in their work of proclaiming the message..."--5 Tract, pg. 90:4 (bold emphasis, braces added).

Thus, the "horsemen" are angels, and the way they "run" (travel) is by their own special chariot, because "The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them" (Ps. 68:17). This fact is noted in Isaiah's prophecy about the coming of the Lord with His angels--"For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind" (Isa. 66:15). The fact that the angels are to come to earth with the Lord in chariots, proves irrefutably that they will not only fly (travel) through the heavens in some type of vehicle which moves, but so does the Lord.

"And He {the Lord} rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, He did fly upon the wings of the wind."--Psalms 18:10 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"Who {the Lord} maketh the clouds His chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind."--Psalms 104:3 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man {the Lord Jesus}, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle."--Rev. 14:14 (bold emphasis, braces added).

As the Lord travels in a flying vehicle in the air like a "white cloud," so will the "horses" (144,000 Davidian Samsons) "run" (travel) with the "horsemen" (angels in flying chariots). That is, these "mighty men" (Joel 2:7)--Samsons, cannot "buy" a car or a ticket on an airplane to travel; so the Lord provides them with the flying chariots of the angels to journey throughout the earth to preach the gospel. Thus, "as horsemen...shall they run" (Joel 2:4) and "leap"!

"Like the noise of {horsemen--angels in} chariots on the tops of mountains shall they {144,000 Davidian Samsons} leap {fly}, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array."--Joel 2:5 (bold emphasis, braces added).

It is obvious that this event will arrest the attention of the entire world, and cause these saints to be internationally known. That is, they will not only see the 144,000 Davidians with faces that shine, and who can speak all languages, and who are stronger than Samson, but they will see them as "horses" who "run" (travel throughout the earth) as "horsemen" in flying chariots. And what a distinctive sign that will be upon the saints! But this is not all, they will have another distinctive sign by which they will be recognized:

SIGN 5--SAINTS KNOWN INTERNATIONALLY BECAUSE THEY CANNOT DIE

"And when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded" (Joel 2:8); that is, they cannot be wounded or killed.

"Just as conclusive is...the Revelation's prophecies on the other gifts of miracles, including immunity to death, to be manifested among God's people {144,000 Davidian Samsons}."--2 Timely Greetings, No. 46, pg. 34:1 (bold emphasis, braces added).

During the time of the loud cry call of God's people out of Babylon (Rev. 18:4), the wicked will make a death decree (Rev. 13:15) to kill the saints; and that is why the great multitude will hide in the mountains. But when the 144,000 Davidians refuse to take the mark of the man 666 and defy his death decree by calling God's people out of the Babylon churches, then they are seeking death; but they are immune from death and cannot be killed, as was Daniel:

DANIEL COULD NOT FIND DEATH

"In Daniel's time King Darius, the Mede, approved a decree forbidding any man to make petition to any god or to anyone except himself for thirty days, and further, that if any should violate this law he would be thrown into the lions' den to be eaten by the angry beasts. Daniel, you recall, prayed to God as usual, and in that respect he was seeking death, for he understood that by praying he was violating the law and that the penalty for it would be death. But when they threw Daniel into the den, what happened to him?--Death fled from him."--12 Symbolic Code, No. 2, pgs. 12,13 (bold emphasis, braces added).

144,000 DAVIDIANS SEEK DEATH BUT CAN'T DIE

"If God's people {144,000 Davidians} are approaching the time when they must either confederate {join the church-state union of the NEW WORLD ORDER} or sacrifice their lives, they must be developing that faith which will cause them to believe that 'in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.' Rev. 9:6."--13 Symbolic Code, No. 3, pgs. 8,9 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"Is it not logical to believe that the reason these men {Rev. 9:6} could not die is that they are sealed by God? What else can make men {144,000 Davidians} live on and on and no one could kill them? Who, other than God, can give life? And do you suppose that God is going to extend the life of the wicked? He promises to do that only for the righteous, those having the seal of God in their foreheads {Rev. 14:1}. Then these that seek death and cannot find it are God's people {modern-day Samsons who cannot die}."--12 Symbolic Code, No. 2, pgs. 11,12 (bold emphasis, braces added).

A MARK (ANGEL GUARD) PROTECTS 144,000 DAVIDIANS

"Cain slew Abel {Gen. 4:8} and therefore he deserved to be slain himself. He did not deserve life any longer, but God said that if anybody dare kill Cain sevenfold vengeance would befall him. The Lord put a mark {Gen. 4:15} on him for the safety of Cain, and so long as he had the mark no one should dare kill him. What is the mark?--You may say that the mark is as much as an angel guard present all the time. God set a guarding angel with Cain to protect him from anyone's killing him. Now we come to another marking period {to guard the 144,000 Davidians}, that described in Ezekiel 9.

"In this chapter {Ezek. 9:1-11} the Lord called the angels who had charge of the city, showing that they had charge of the city perhaps in a way similar to the charge of the angel over Cain. These six angels who have charge of the city are called to come forth and one among them is seen to have a writer's inkhorn. And he is to set a mark {an angel guard} on everyone {144,000 Davidian saints and those saved 'with' them} that sighs and cries for the abominations. When the marking is done, then the five other angels which have the slaughter weapons in their hands are to smite everyone who has not the mark. This indicates that the mark in Ezekiel 9 {an angel guard} assures safety from the angels' slaughter {so that they cannot die}."--12 Symbolic Code, No. 2, pg. 9:2,3 (bold emphasis, braces added).

GOD PROTECTS THE 144,000 DAVIDIANS FROM DEATH

"Throughout the Dark Ages all who dared accept the Gospel were seeking death, and they found it, too {martyred}. So we see that history in the period of the fifth trumpet discloses that up to this time Revelation 9:6 {when men cannot die} has not met its fulfillment. But there will yet be a decree before the fifth trumpet ends, that if men dare to disobey, they must face the threatened penalty of death. Those, however, who have been sealed {144,000 Davidians and those saved 'with' them} when the decree comes will seek death and death will flee from them. God will not let them die. By faith it is not difficult to understand how this could be, for you know that if God wills that you live you simply cannot die. We already saw a demonstration of that in Daniel's time. Men's lives are in the hands of God, and if He chooses to preserve the lives of some there is none who can snuff them out, not even the Devil."--12 Symbolic Code, No. 2, pg. 14 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"As the saints left the cities and villages, they were pursued by the wicked, who sought to slay them. But the swords {weapons} that were raised to kill God's people broke and fell as powerless as a straw. Angels of God shielded the saints."--Eary Writings, pgs. 284,285 (bold emphasis, braces added).

What a great "army" (Joel 2:11) the Lord will have in His kingdom--saints who cannot be killed by their enemies. What a distinctive sign that will be to make them internationally known!

HOW THE SAINTS WILL GO HOME TO GOD'S KINGDOM

When the 144,000 Davidians and those saved "with" them are sealed, they will be given the special mark of guarding angels; who will protect these saints from the wicked people during the time of trouble, and from the slaughtering angels of Ezek. 9. And then the Lord will take them home to His soon-coming kingdom. But how will they get there?

"We are therefore not to worry about a possibility of anyone's hurting the work of God. Neither are we to worry about how we {Davidians} are to get to Mount Zion {Rev. 14:1}, but are to make sure to be ready to board the chariot of God when the angels cry out, 'All aboard!'"--1 Timely Greetings, No. 11, pg. 13:2 (bold emphasis, braces added).

EXAMPLE OF HOW THE WORK OF THE LOUD CRY WILL BE FINISHED

And while they are in the kingdom, they will receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and have dreams and visions (Joel 2:28). And here is an example of what could happen to one of the 144,000 Davidians or those saved "with" them. He could have a dream or vision from the Lord, and this is what he could be told to do: Go to Russia and find a saint in prison and bring him to the kingdom. To accomplish this task, he must "run" as a "horsemen" (Joel 2:4) by traveling in the chariot of his guarding angel to the prison in Russia where the saint is held hostage. This Davidian will be able to automatically speak in the Russian language (Zech. 8:23) to the prison guards. They will recognize him as one of the 144,000, because his face will shine. If they refuse to release the prisoner to him, then he will have greater strength than Samson to "climb the wall" (Joel 2:7) and "enter in at the windows" (Joel 2:9), and break the iron bars of the prison cell to release the saint. And when the Russian guards try to stop this Davidian with their weapons--"sword" (Joel 2:8), they find that they cannot kill him. Then he takes the Russian saint with him in the angel's flying chariot to God's kingdom. And this is how these saints will do the work of the Loud Cry to call God's people out of Babylon (Rev. 18:4). They will fly to the kingdom like a cloud or a dove with the saints they have gathered--the great multitude (Rev. 7:9). And they will be seen by many people of the world who do not know who they are and their purpose; and they will ask this question: "Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows" (Isa. 60:8)!

What a great day that will be for the saints living in the latter days. And what distinctive signs the 144,000 Davidians and those saved "with" them will possess (and there will be more), which the people of the entire world will recognize: The saints whose faces shine; who speak all languages; who are stronger than Samson; who "run" like "horsemen;" and who cannot die! They are the "men wondered at" (Zech. 3:8) who are the saints which the world has never before seen. Surely, they will be internationally known!
